Volunteer Opportunities

Millennium can always use help! We are looking for individuals to volunteer their time to help keep our club running.
Volunteers will spend time helping organize events, up-keep of our fields, or assisting our team managers.

Parent Volunteers
If you are a parent of a player, you will be presented with opportunities to volunteer for specific programs while registering your child for an event.

Did you know?
State Farm Companies Foundation will contribute a $500 grant to a qualifying non-profit organization at which an eligible State Farm associate volunteered 40 hours or more within a calendar year. Please consider volunteering for Millennium Futbol Club if you work for State Farm!

This year's deadline to apply for volunteer hours from 2018 is March 31, 2019.

We need an online/social media outreach volunteer
Duties:
- Manage and coordinate social activity (Facebook).
- Develop other social channels (Instagram, Twitter, possibly others).
- Coordinate with web site to make sure there’s easy-to-access information for prospective members who want to learn more.
- Create and gather content from parents, teams, managers, etc., to promote Millennium and tell our story. Could be footage, short video interviews, stories, etc. Help develop organizational structure to ensure regular availability of content.
- Create a plan or strategy for promoting Millennium online and creating awareness of our organization and what we do.
- Become familiar with strategies including paid efforts to make sure our message is seen.

Other Volunteer Opportunities
- Coaching
- Team Manager / Team Mom/Dad
- Assisting with games or other events
- Maintaining fields - mowing, lining fields, practice field set-up/tear-down
- Coordinating the following events and groups:
> Volunteers, Sponsors, Referees, Camps, Friendly Games, Open Play, Uniforms/Spirit Wear, Club Events, Registration, Tryouts, Community Event Coordinator, Fundraisers, Advertising, Communication
- Other tasks needed for club to run successfully
